By Her Side Faithful Caregiver stores all of your caregiving data locally on your device using secure on-device storage. This includes:
By Her Side Faithful Caregiver requires you to create an account and sign in to use the app, which means an internet connection is needed to log in. Your account is used only to verify it is you — we store your email address, an encrypted password, and the first name you enter at sign-up (optional) so you can sign back in on this or another device.
We do not share your account details with advertisers or third parties, and we never sell your information.
We do not have access to, nor do we store, your personal medical information on our servers. Your journal entries, medications, emergency info, and doctor visit notes are kept on your device only.
This caregiving content is not transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party. Your caregiving records belong to you alone.
We use industry-standard encryption to protect the small amount of information that does travel to our servers:
For an extra layer of protection on your device, we recommend setting a passcode, Face ID, or fingerprint lock on your phone so only you can open the app.
By Her Side Faithful Caregiver offers an optional Premium subscription processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play. Your billing information is handled entirely by Apple or Google — we never see or store your payment details. We use RevenueCat to verify your active subscription status; a non-identifying user ID and a device identifier are used for this purpose.
When you export your data to a PDF, the document is created entirely on your device. You choose where it goes — saved to your Files app, printed, or shared via a method of your choosing. We never see or receive any exported content.
By Her Side Faithful Caregiver is intended for adult caregivers and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app: open Settings and tap "Delete Account." This removes your email, password, and first name from our system. Your caregiving data lives on your device, so it is also removed when you delete your account or uninstall the app. If you need help, contact us at the email below.
If we ever update this privacy policy, the new version will be included in an app update and posted on this page. We will always let you know through the app before any change that could affect how your data is handled.
